Biography

Born and raised in New York, Sean moved to Atlanta after graduating from New York University with a bachelor's degree in computer science to pursue a career in the IT field. During his IT career, he co-founded and ran a successful promotions company. Despite his success, he decided to pursue a lifelong dream of attending law school.
While attending law school, Sean was a board member of the Georgia State Law Review. He also received multiple CALI Awards as well as the Excellence in Advocacy Award.
After graduating from law school, Sean worked several years for an AMLaw 100 firm. There, as a registered patent attorney, his practice involved numerous aspects of intellectual property including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
In 2020, Sean founded the McPhillip Firm to cater to the needs of his community. He expanded his practice to include personal injury and criminal defense. In his personal injury practice, Sean works closely with clients who suffered dog bites and those involved in motor vehicle accidents, trucking wrecks, slip and falls, and wrongful death cases.
In just three years, Sean built the McPhillip Firm into a multi-million-dollar practice. To date, Sean has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.
In his criminal defense practice, Sean successfully defended clients against various crimes, including, DUIs, family violence charges, theft, and traffic offenses including fleeing and eluding, obstruction, and reckless driving.
Sean's attention to detail and tenacious advocacy ensures his clients receive the best results and maximum awards possible.
