Biography

​

Born and raised in Griffin, Georgia, Michael attended Emory University, where he received his bachelor's degree in Sociology. After graduating, Michael served his country in the United States Navy. Upon completion of his service to his country, Michael returned home to Georgia and began working as a litigation paralegal at a local Atlanta law firm. His experience there strengthened his desire to pursue a career as an attorney. Michael then attended Georgia State College of Law where he graduated in the Top 10 of his class. He also earned several CALI awards while at GSU College of Law. At GSU College of Law, Michael was a member of the Georgia State Law Review and a Bleckley Inn of Court Pupil. After graduation from GSU College of Law, the school inducted him into the Order of the Coif .

 

As a student and as an attorney, Michael's pro bono work included helping to free Devonia Inman after serving twenty-three years for a wrongful conviction.

In his practice, Michael successfully litigated products liability, wrongful death, and personal injury cases totaling over a billion dollars in verdicts and settlements. His passion drives him to zealously advocate for his clients.
